Clients: Tri it For Life

In 2007, Charlotte Dr. Alyse Kelly-Jones set out to round up 100 women who had never done a triathlon before. She and a group of mentors led 140 first-time triathletes through 12 weeks of training to compete in the all-female, sprint-distance Ramblin' Rose triathlon in Huntersville, NC.
Every woman from that group who started the race finished. Tri It For Life was born.
In 2008, the group became a 501(c)3 nonprofit, and with each passing season, it's been growing.
For 2010, Tri It For Life expects to have a membership of more than 300 athletes, including 200 first-time female triathletes. The group was named non-profit beneficiary of the Rock Hill, SC Ramblin Rose race, scheduled for July 11, 2010 at the Rock Hill Aquatic Center.
