Clients: Jackie McFee

Jackie McFee is a woman inspired to use her talents and enthusiasm for a greater good. Jackieʼs spirit and zest for life makes her artwork as contagious as her personality. As part of her business philosophy – “Paying it Forward . . . Beautifully” – she licenses her designs to corporate partners who share her vision of living generously.

JACK!E Collections have been spotted all over television, including in the arms of dramatic singing diva Rachel Berry (played by Lea Michele) on Foxʼs uber-popular “Glee.” Interior designer Nate Berkus used McFeeʼs products to trick out a little boyʼs room on “The Oprah Winfrey Show.”

Jackieʼs ground-breaking partnership with Carolina Pad revolutionized the school and office supply industry and created a new fashion category at retail. Her ability to forecast trends has made her a consumer-savvy retail powerhouse: Her Hot Chocolate Collection has sold more than 60 million pieces since 2004.

Jackie was inspired to “Pay it Forward ... Beautifully” when her 2-year-old cousin Kendall was diagnosed with Leukemia in 2006. With the support of Carolina Pad, Jackie launched the Kendall Kollection, from which a portion of Jackieʼs proceeds benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

Kendall is now in full remission and a happy school-aged child, but her story resonates: the collection sold more than $15M at retail in the first nine months on store shelves. In 2009, SkirtSports joined the beautiful forward thinking movement, launching a Kendall Kollection line of sporting apparel.

Building on that momentum, Jackie added another “Pay it Forward ... Beautifully” collection with Carolina Pad and SkirtSports: Dreamsicle, with a portion of her proceeds benefitting Girls On the Run. The national non-profit is a curriculum-based program that inspires more than 50,000 girls a year to celebrate their bodies and honor their voices.

Jackieʼs design collections have appeared on 90210, Hannah Montana and in the Pottery Barn Kids/Teens catalogs. They can be found in major retailers including Michaelʼs, Wal-Mart, Staples, Target and Office Max just to name a few.
